VCCP Girl & Bear Sculpture

Role: Finishing/ sanding and filling

I travelled to Birmingham to work with Scruffy Dog for two weeks to help to finish this sculpture by using hairy filler and car body filler.

A large-scale sculpture of VCCP’s Girl & Bear logo, created for their London office reception. The girl was 3D printed to retain fine detail, while the bear was hand-shaped in poly and finished with a fibreglass coating. Both figures sit on a steel base with Komacel cladding, providing the strength required for a high-traffic space, and are finished in a weathered gold that responds to the surrounding light.
