I used my carpentry, casting and moulding, scenic painting and finishing skills to create this large prop.

‍My Iron Throne is a replica of a creation of George R.R Martin in the books A Song of Ice and Fire and in the HBO show Game of Thrones, was designed by Gemma Jackson and constructed by Gavin Jones. Prop produced by Grok! studios.

The Iron Throne is an asymmetric monstrosity of spikes and jagged edges and twisted metal. The throne was constructed by Aegon I Targaryen from the melted, twisted, beaten, and broken blades surrendered by his enemies, or wrenched from the hands of the dying. According to the songs, it took a thousand blades to make. George has described the Iron Throne as "massive", "ugly", and "asymmetric”. The throne is a symbol of conquest.

The most prevalent descriptions are-

•Asymmetric monstrosity of spikes, jagged edges and twisted metal

•"massive", "ugly", and "asymmetri

•Thousand blades to make

•Melted, twisted, beaten, and broken blades

I recorded that the throne has 200 actual blades on the prop in the show, little finger mentions that the throne has "less than 200 blades" and that he counted himself. I counted 28 longer blades at the back of the throne and about 34 hilts visible.
